Comprehensive Air Dispersion Modeling

We perform air dispersion modeling for a wide range of pollutants and release types required under federal and state regulations.

  • Existing Source Compliance – Title V modeling for ongoing operations
  • New Source Review (NSR) & Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) – Assessing emissions for permitting requirements
  • Hazardous Pollutant Modeling – Evaluating air toxics and their impacts
  • Non-Attainment Area Compliance – Ensuring adherence to stricter air quality standards
  • RCRA Risk Assessment – Modeling emissions related to hazardous waste management

Regulatory Air Quality Modeling

Our company makes use of the preferred EPA atmospheric dispersion model, AERMOD, along with other state and local models, to estimate the impacts of a facility’s operations on the surrounding environment. By applying the appropriate regulatory model along with site-specific emissions, terrain, and meteorological data, we accurately simulate the dispersion of air pollutants from a facility. This analysis helps determine potential impacts on the community and nearby sensitive receptors, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and air quality standards.

Risk Assessments & Deposition Analysis

We prepare detailed wet and dry deposition analyses for multi-path risk assessments using the latest EPA guidance and models. Our work supports industries in evaluating potential human health and environmental impacts. We have also provided training for EPA and state agencies on dispersion modeling for deposition.
